About me
I’m Laura, an Advanced Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) practitioner, ADHD Clinical Services Provider, and Clinical Supervisor. I support adults to process difficult emotions and work through the impact of trauma in a way that feels safe, compassionate, and respectful of the nervous system.
I have been qualified as a therapist since 2016 and bring over 20 years of experience working with children and adults who are vulnerable across a wide range of health and social care settings. This includes supporting individuals impacted by complex trauma, sexual exploitation, and county lines.
My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience. I offer a calm, non-judgemental, and reflective space for clients seeking therapeutic support, and for professionals looking for thoughtful, trauma-informed clinical supervision that supports safe practice, self-reflection, and sustainable working.
My journey
I grew up in Devon where my late teens were marked by struggles with mental health.
-
I was diagnosed with anxiety, depression, and PTSD before the age of 19.
-
Living with chronic illness first-hand, I also understand the frustrations of the recovery process. Diagnosed with Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), my journey has shown a surprising connection: as I overcame emotional trauma, my physical pain lessened.
-
This experience highlights a potential silver lining to chronic illness. It can force our bodies to slow down and prioritise rest. By listening to these signals, we create an opportunity for deep healing.
-
In 2025 I received late diagnosis of ADHD and Autism.
MY STORY

My experience in IEMT
I first experienced Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), through the NHS in the UK, and then became fascinated with my recovery and how quickly the shift from my traumatic memories began processing. Inspired by my experience I then studied Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT).
Experience

I know from my own life experiences and from supporting others, that living with increased levels of stress and trauma can often produce both mental and physical health issues. These can be hard to address and overcome, and at times seem impossible to deal with, like a block in the way. However, with assistance, support, and guidance a positive outcome is possible, and the blocks can be removed.
OUR SERVICES
I am an accredited NLP practitioner and a member of association, an Integral Eye Movement Advanced practitioner and member of the association. I am also a core transformation practitioner and ADHD Clinical Services Provider.
